Henna is NOT black. The dark designs in the pictures show the henna paste staining the skin. The stain will be an orange, brown, or reddish color.

Zattana regularly travels for henna events and is comfortable setting up just about anywhere! Top left: Zattana's setup at a women's pamper festival. Plenty of pillows and rugs create ambiance. Belly dance and henna create the perfect pair of activities for your event! Bottom left: This is an example of Zattana's setup at a Corporate event. Henna body art is always an extremely popular attraction at Corporate picnics, fairs, and employee appreciation events. Top right: Zattana's Gypsy tent at a water-logged weekend medieval faire holds its own against the rain... Bottom right: ...bone-dry inside! Zattana lounges in comfort on the upholstered bench, pillow piles, and rugs of the Gypsy tent. |
Zattana applies the henna paste --free hand, never with stencils-- at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. The paste will dry in about 20 minutes and, when left on the skin for a few hours, will leave a stain that lasts 1-3 weeks! |
Peacock feathers and scroll work freestyle. The dark color is the paste staining the skin and the orange color is the new stain a day after the paste had been removed. |
