Zattana is the ONLY professional henna artist and Middle Eastern dance performer/instructor in Ohio. Co-founder of Roja, Zattana can also arrange to include award-winning troupe performances or multiple dancers at your next event.

Belly Grams, Group Belly Dance Lessons, and Henna Body Art are perfect for:

~Belly Grams~

Belly Grams are family-friendly, interactive performances and are generally 10-15 minutes long, unless otherwise specified. Zattana always includes a special prop of the client's choice in the performance (authentic sword, Isis wings, veil, etc) and encourages guest participation. Hiring a dancer for a celebration is a centuries-old tradition. It is considered very auspicious and is a beautiful, thoughtful gift for the guest(s) of honor.

~Belly Dance Instruction~

Zattana specializes in American cabaret-style belly dance and fusion styles, choreography, and prop-work with sword, veil, Isis wings, fan veils, and zills (finger cymbals). She is available to teach belly dance group lessons for parties and other special events, individual private lessons, and workshops (beginner and intermediate/advanced levels). ~Henna Parties~

Henna (also known as mehndi) is an ancient, relaxing, all-natural body art form practiced in India, the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia. With celebrities like Gwen Stefani and Madonna sporting henna body art, it has become immensely popular in the United States as well within the last decade. Zattana has over ten years of experience as a professional henna artist and takes great pride in the art form.

Zattana will create a fresh henna mix using all-natural ingredients and only the best henna direct from India for your party. She will bring the henna, extensive art books for design ideas, and pillows/rugs for décor…you provide the palettes! At least a week’s notice is required in order to properly prepare for your event.
