21st Annual Ohio Renaissance Festival

Crafts, demonstrations, food, jousting, jugglers, dancers, games, rides, shows, sword fighting...there is SO much to do and see! Do NOT miss it! This is one of THE biggest Renaissance Festivals in the country!

Zattana will be slinging henna at the Ancient Arts body art booth every weekend from September 7th through October 17th.

The festival is open every weekend through October 17th, from 10:30am to 6:00pm, rain or shine.

17th Annual Dayton Lebanese Festival

Zattana will be performing with Roja the 17th Annual Dayton Lebanese Festival! Show time TBA

The festival will run Friday, Aug 27 - Sunday, Aug 29. Admission is FREE!

The festival features authentic Middle Eastern food and pastries, traditional dancing by St. Ignatius Debbke Troupe, belly dancing by Conchi and her dance troupe Al Hambra; and dance troupes Raks Devi, Troupe Roja, Eqyptian Breeze, and others.

In addition, there will be amusement rides and games for all ages and, for adults, various games of chance including poker, showdown, and blackjack.

Authentic hand-made Lebanese foods of Kibbee, Kafta, marinated Garlic Chicken, Falafel, Shawarma (“Lebanese gyro”), Tabouli salad, Fatoosh salad (Middle-Eastern bread salad), stuffed grape leaves, hummus dip, homemade Middle Eastern mountain bread with zhata seasoning; and a variety fresh Lebanese pastries.

Middle Eastern gifts, cultural displays, and a number of arts and crafts vendor booths.

Maronite-Rite, Eastern Catholic Mass at 10 a.m. Aug. 29, celebrated by St. Ignatius' pastor, Rev. Pierre Bassil, in English, Arabic and Aramaic-Syriac language and including one of the oldest Eucharistic prayers in the Catholic Church.

Alhambra Night 2010

Alhambra Night Show:  Spend this warm summer night with dancers from all over the region who will be performing to their favorite music!  This show is for dance students, student troupes, professional dancers, and anyone interested in seeing some amazing belly dance.  Zattana will also be there, available for henna body art!

When: July 17th, UPDATED doors open at 5:30pm to give time for shopping and henna!, the show starts at 7:00pm

Yellow Springs Dayton Street Cirque Carnival

Dayton Street Alliance presents this fun-filled freak show! We are closing down the street for a party. The Main event will be held at the corner of Corry Street and Dayton Street in Yellow Springs, Ohio. We will fill the streets with quality artisan and food vendors, healing art demonstrations, henna body art by Zattana, and three stages featuring live music, the Egyptian Breeze belly dancers, jugglers, fire spinners, spoken word, yoga performances and more !

Admission is FREE!

Hafla Night at Kira's Oasis

Zattana will be slinging some fabulous henna body art at Kira's Oasis monthly bellydance hafla! There will be open dancing, several performances, and other vendors set up as well. Roja will be performing their first-place-winning Turkish pop competition piece too!

EVENT CANCELED - Behind the Veil: A Dance for Peace show at University of Dayton

DUE TO EVENTS BEYOND THEIR CONTROL, SANDSTORM MUST REGRETABLY CANCEL THE BEHIND THE VEIL DANCE SHOW SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY JUNE 26TH.

Zattana will be performing with Egyptian Breeze at The Sandstorm Middle Eastern Dance Company's concert to benefit the Missing Peace Art Space in Dayton. Sandstorm's mission is to promote cultural awareness and understanding through entertainment while educating, using music and dance to explore the rich tapestry of various Middle Eastern cultures.

There will be a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres.

Ohio State University Renaissance Festival

Come one, come all!

Zattana will be slinging henna at the Ohio State University Renaissance Festival!

One day only: May 1, from 11am - 6pm, rain or shine!

"Daring duelists, talented musicians, and sundry acting troupes from throughout our great country have been assembled for your pleasure to perform their acts on more than seven stages across the grounds of the Faire.   Additionally, a great number of fine merchants and craftsmen will also gather to the site, selling everything from weaponry and handmade jewelry, to T-shirts and children’s toys.  Her ladyship assures us that a good time is guaranteed for all."
